Exciting changes in our ministry: God has led us to do something in recent weeks that we have never done before. We have stopped the process of publishing our next book that is titled The Supernatural Power of the Living Word of God and moved another book ahead of it. I worked diligently every day for more than 5 months compiling a list of 2,000 passages of Scripture. God told me to have this project completed by my birthday on July 7^th. I worked an average of 35 hours a week on this project during the final two weeks. I was able to complete this assignment at 2:00 a.m. on the day of my 76^th birthday.

God has revealed so much to me as a result of these 2,000 passages of Scripture that I felt strongly led to proceed with a book using a lot of this Scripture. Judy has prayed and she agrees with this decision.

This book will be titled What Does God Say?. The book will contain approximately 1,300 passages of Scripture on almost 100 different topics. Each passage of Scripture will be preceded by a simple and easy-to-understand paragraph written by Judy and myself explaining that passage of Scripture.

I am absolutely consumed by this book. The book is very comprehensive, yet it is not difficult to understand. A 12 year old child could understand this book because of the simple paragraph of explanation written before each passage of Scripture.

We are working diligently on this book. It is moving forward at a rapid pace. It is too early to give an estimation of the publishing date, but we are optimistic that the book will be completed and published some time in 2008.

We are praying daily about working with a Christian publisher to publish this book so that many more people will be helped. We have self-published 15 of the 17 previous Christian books we have written. Nevertheless, we are moving ahead to find the right publisher. We also are looking at a successful Christian book distributor.

We still will need to raise money for this book. When we are successful in finding the publisher God has for us, this publisher (and/or book distributor) will distribute our books to people we are unable to reach now. We will still order the same number of books that we normally print so that we will have books to give free of charge to people in Third World countries and inmates in prisons and jails. We also will purchase enough books so that we can continue to give books to our ministry partners who provide the funds to purchase this separate shipment of books.

The word "enthusiasm" comes from two Greek words - "en” and "theos.” These two words mean "in God." We believe that the reason we are so enthusiastic about this book is that we are in the absolute center of God's will. We eagerly await the opportunity to share the finished product with you. Please pray for us as we keep moving forward with this book. Thank you and God bless you.

We love you each one. I am so enjoying hearing from you. I appreciate it so much. Though many of us have never met in person, we have been friends for many years. We have a bond that is in Christ Jesus that keeps us close. When we pray for each other regularly, the bond greatly deepens. Jack and I both appreciate hearing from you who live in foreign countries as well as you who live in the US. We are blessed to live in this time of advanced technology. We are family in Christ Jesus all over the world. We thank our Father for every friend.

Please pray especially for our new friends in Pakistan where serving the Lord is at great risk. Great joy is experienced by exchanging emails with leaders of ministries world-wide. I have been corresponding with a pastor in Pakistan who writes, “Thanks for your encouraging email. We received your books. They are wonderful. We are blessed to read them. Please send more and more. We can work on translating the books into Urdu. We are busy in crusades all over Pakistan. In our May crusade 4,000 received the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal for 2007 was 4,000 house churches. We now have 3,000 house churches.”

This pastor reaches into remote tribes with the gospel. There is no money for a school, so this pastor opened a brickyard school. Brick making is slave labor earning about US $2.00 for 1,000 bricks. You can see how blessed I am that God connected us with this pastor.

A pastor from Nigeria wrote, “I am glad to write you this email after reading through your website and to say that I love your statement of faith. I am the international president of a body of over 70 different denominations and more than 300 pastors. I would like to affiliate this ministry with yours to work in covenant relationship.”

The joy that comes through emails is evidence of the power of God in those who are counting the cost of discipleship. Please pray for our friends in Barbados, England, Ghana, Greece, India, Ireland, Jamaica, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Swaziland, Thailand, and Zambia where we sent M Bags full of our books in May. We have heard from some of the pastors that the M Bags have arrived. We are eagerly awaiting reports of lives changed by the Word of God in the large number of books sent to the nations. Hallelujah!

We have made a lot of changes to our website. I encourage you to go for a visit. Online ordering of books has been streamlined. The discounts are in effect online. Now there is a 40% discount for ANY five to nine items and a 50% discount for ANY ten items. You can mix them any way that you like. The Scripture cards are so inexpensive when you buy even five of them. I keep an open set in my purse and I give a card to anyone who comes across my path each day. What a simple gift to enlighten someone’s day.

Jack and I dedicated five years of our lives to completing the ten sets of Scripture cards on ten different topics. They are: Find God’s Will for Your Life; Financial Instructions from God; Freedom from Worry and Fear; A Closer Relationship with God; Our Father’s Wonderful Love; Receiving Healing from the Lord; Receive God’s Blessing in Adversity; Enjoy God’s Wonderful Peace; God Is Always with You; and Continually Increasing Faith in God. We have a home fellowship that has been meeting in our home on the second Saturday of each month for the past fourteen months. We spend some time each month in our book, Exchange Your Worries for God’s Perfect Peace. Each person is given a free copy of the book. Each month we spend time on studying the verses that Jack chooses for us to discuss. Each person can read the book on his or her own. We are only about half way through the book after fourteen months. You can see that we have a lot of discussion.

The format is that Jack gives a verse; someone reads it; then Jack asks for comments and life experiences relating to the verse. The sharing is exceptional. Then we pray. We end by gathering around the table to enjoy food and fellowship as a family in Christ. The goal is to be enriched by the Word of God and apply it to our lives.

I encourage you to select any of our books to begin a little Bible study in your home or at your workplace. Just select some verses and ask for comments and life experiences. You will be so blessed by the responses. You can also use the questions in the back of each book as a study guide. We have done all of the work for you.

If you have ever held a Bible study using one of our books or Scripture cards, please let me know. We would like to add a section on our website reporting on these Bible studies.
